Monster Island

Monster Island is the name of The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster. It was released at the same time that Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Monster Island is the story of an island also known under the name Monster Island. A monster can be found on the island and is also the Monster Island.


Because this (first post) film is about an asylum, the budget is approximately equivalent to a large child's meal. It makes economic use of its resources by focusing on a few human characters and keeping the A-list actors in one location to allow them to shoot all their scenes within a single lunch break. The Asylum might not do so badly considering that it is a kaiju film.
